The location was CONVENIENT, with Bamboo Panda nearby, where we could eat. An enjoyable base for exploring La Junta.

I loved the 'feel' of this place. The proprietor was friendly and gracious, the place clean and comfortable. I liked the no-frills atmosphere-- owner/desk clerk/ gardener all in one. When I left he waved from pulling weeds in the median flower garden. I will definitely return!

I would definitely have to say that although I had a negative experience with the staff/managers at Travel Inn, the pricing is the only positive.
We originally rented the room for two nights, but due to car troubles we didn't arrive in La Junta until 5 A.M. because I had an overnight flight. I had contacted them ahead of time to let them know. Upon arrival they still charged me for two nights, and although I don't have a problem paying I believe the staff should've listened to our concerns and been more understanding about our unfortunate circumstances. A discounted price would've been more reasonable rather than charging the full two nights. They said that we would have to speak to a rep for Travel Inn, but reps didn't help because they said it's at the managers discretion. The manager said, "full charge for two nights here's the keys." I've never met such selfish money driven people!! I understand it's a business, but there's no professionalism in the least.
